Expansion of UKAS Accreditation

Having previously gained UKAS accreditation for Ultrasonic Flaw Detection, Oceanscan Ltd is proud to announce that from 2023 our accreditation has been extended to include the calibration of Lizard NDE instruments operating with Eddy Current and Alternating Current Field Measurement.
Oceanscan and its daughter company, Sercal NDT Ltd, can calibrate Phased Array instruments, UT flaw detectors, Valeport sensors and for Oceanscan all Eddy Current equipment. Calibrations ares carried out in our dedicated laboratories in Aberdeen and in Cannock with the prestigious UKAS mark, and as such will continue to provide our customers with the confidence that our accredited calibrations, delivered by a highly skilled workforce, are to an internationally recognised standard.
Most importantly, it recognises Oceanscan’s underlying commitment to excellence in quality customer service, throughout all of our operations. After this latest success we will, once again, begin investigating additional products and technologies to include on our current scope of accreditation.
