- Booking in Rental equipment visual checks for applicable products
- Maintenance and cleaning of all Rental transportation cases
- Operation and maintenance of Warehouse forklift apparatus
- Maintenance and servicing and daily checks of all company vehicles/3T counter balance forklift
- Goods receiving – POs and customer calibrations.
* Ordering of packaging materials as needed
* Reporting of defects or incomplete received goods.
- Any other duties as seen fit by Management/Supervisor.

Requirements:
- Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
- Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
- Ability to stand on their feet for long hours
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently
- Full, clean, UK driving licence
- High attention to detail
- Forklift license is a plus

Responsibilities:
- The maintenance, servicing and calibration of NDT instrumentation in accordance with manufacturers guidelines or the appropriate recognized standard
- The maintenance, servicing and testing of rental NDT equipment, for applicable products
- Updating and maintaining goods-in and dispatch records
- Completing all outgoing quality assurance checks prior to dispatch
- Creation of delivery notes
- Offering first line Technical Support to clients

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of logic controllers and their application in calibration processes
- Ability to perform system design for calibration setups and equipment

BASE ENGINEER

Oceanscan, a leading equipment rental supplier to the offshore oil & gas and wind energy industries, has an immediate requirement for a Base Engineer to join its Aberdeen engineering team.
The Job:
- Maintenance, servicing and testing of hydrographic survey and ROV sensors.
- Maintenance, servicing and calibration of NDT instruments in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines or to relevant ISO and UKAS standards.
- Updating and maintaining goods-in and dispatch records.
- Completing all outgoing quality assurance checks prior to dispatch.
- Creation of delivery notes.
- Providing first line technical support to clients.
- Operation of warehouse forklift.

The Person:
- Qualified to HNC level in Electronics or above or holding an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience in fault finding, servicing and repairing electronic equipment to component level.
- General understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of survey and ROV or NDT inspection equipment would be advantageous.
- Driving Licence preferred but not essential.

Salary: Up to £34,000.00 per year
Education: Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
Licence/Certification: HNC ELECTRONICS (preferred)
